Alev Lunsford - Coach A
Coaching has been a fulfilling passion of mine. I began my experience with Bluegrass Marlins Swim Team in 2015. For more than 10 years, I have been practicing and coaching young swimmers in both snorkel training and stroke techniques. My experience has been refined through the help of Kentucky Aquatics Swim Team and through my own personal, one-on-one lessons. I am proud to say, I am the only coach in the local area (Lexington, Kentucky) that does snorkel training, for young swimmers, to this depth.
My heart has always remained in the water. I am a certified swim coach and official, specializing in early-age snorkel training starting at 3 years old, as well as stroke technique, starts, and turn clinics. Kentucky has truly been a blessing for me and my family, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for swimming with the next generation.
